Kaju katli

 

-Kaju katli is also known as Kaju Barfi, which is similar to a barfi also a favourite across India. It is the best Indian sweet which is now an attractive sweet of Indian origin, which gives a rich taste. It is thin, smooth, melt in mouth slices of cashew goodness. It basically made up of thickening milk with sugar, dry fruits(cashew paste and mild species) and other ingredients like ghee, coconut oil, cardamom powder and rose water. It is my favourite sweet and so delicious that makes it Indias best sweet. Its often made during festivals of Diwali and Holi and is one of the most popular Indian sweet! Its name translates as “Cashew Slice.”

Kalakand

-Kalakand is an Indian sweet made by solidified sweetened milk and paneer. It is a sweet milk and cheese dessert popular in northern and eastern India. Kalakand is a traditional Indian sweet which mostly served on festivals, it is a tasty sweet which melts in the mouth and gives a yummy and a creamy taste. It made with paneer, milk, sugar and other ingredients (such as – ghee, cardamom, nuts etc.) topped with pistachio nuts. Kalakand is also one of my favourite sweet.

Soan papdi

-Soan papdi is an Indian sweet which is also known as patisa, it is a popular north Indian sweet, which is usually cube-shaped or served as flakes. It has a crisp and flakey texture that’s firm to the touch but almost instantly dissolves in your mouth. Ingredients of soan papdi-  soan papdi is basically made with sugar, besan, flour, ghee, milk, cardamom, water etc. It is popular sweet of West Bengal; with Gujarat, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

Coconut ladoo

-Coconut ladoo or nariyal ladoo is a traditional Indian fudge-like sweet, which usually served on festivals and parties. It is a wonderful sweet that balances health and taste. It is quick, easy and deliciously sweet. Coconut ladoo is an easy recipe made with fresh coconut condensed milk or cardamom powder and other ingredients like sugar, flour, ghee/butter/oil, chopped nuts or dried raisins.

Petha

-Petha is basically a translucent soft candy, it is soft and juicy. Petha is the most popular dessert in Agra. It was usually rectangular or cylindrical in shape. It is made from the ash gourd vegetable which also known as white pumpkin, winter melon or petha. Petha is made by drying pieces of ash gourd in lime water and these pieces cooked in sugar syrup. Petha comes in many flavours, including saffron, pineapple, coconut, and mango It is delicious and contains fruit or fibre and it is also very healthy.
