Healthy food is the most important part of our daily diet. You either go on a crash diet to the point of starving yourself; You hit the pool, track, and gym; Or you turn into a crazy calorie-counting freak, checking every small part of the food to see how many calories it contains.

Of course, there is always a chance that you look at your weight-loss project rationally and try to eat only healthy food and exercise regularly. However, be warned that some so-called healthy foods may actually inhibit your weight loss.

1. Whole Grain Bread


-When many people try to reduce calories from their diet, the first thing is that white bread is replaced with whole bread or brown bread. What they do not realize is that although whole grains or brown bread have a lot of nutrition and a good amount of fiber, they are cooked and, therefore, not very healthy.

So if you want to lose weight quickly then avoid all types of bread.

2. Fruit juice

“Fruit juice prevents weight loss?”

-Well, they do. Yes, they are nutritious, boost energy and contain vitamins. Looks healthy, doesn’t it? But they prevent weight loss because they are processed and do not contain any fiber. All packed juices have a certain amount of sugar and artificial flavorings, no matter what they claim and, therefore, they are not really pure.

It takes about six to seven oranges to make a glass of pure orange juice. Have you ever seen someone eat six or seven oranges at one time? I’m sure you won’t

So if you want to lose weight, avoid fruit juice and eat fresh fruits instead.

3. Granola Bar and Cereal

-Most granola bar fans swear by the product and cannot resist the high fiber content and energy boost they get from consuming granola bars and grains. But the fact is that these products are processed and, therefore, unhealthy. Place your granola bar and cereal with oatmeal (not instant) that is not processed.

Add your favorite fruit to enhance the taste and enjoy eating!

4. Sports drink

-Water is the most logical form of hydration. However, sports drinks such as Gatorade contain sugar and electrolytes such as sodium and potassium. Sports drinks we lose during prolonged exercise can help to change, especially in summer. Electrolytes are minerals that maintain your body’s ionic balance.

I am sure you would have seen many professional athletes drinking sports drinks. As they woo, never go for them! They are aimed towards athletes who burn a lot of calories in a day while a normal person works for a maximum of one hour a day (if at all times).

 5. Organic ‘junk food


-It can be from an organic store and can be prepared with all-natural ingredients. But remember, junk food is junk! Organic junk foods can be low in calories but still a lot of them slow down the weight loss process.

Still not sure? Think of it this way, like to press the tissue paper on pizza slices before eating it; All it does is remove the excess oil from the top but the calories in the pizza are still intact. All this makes ‘organic’ junk food

So, what should you do to lose weight?

First, avoid any type of processed food, even if it is described as ‘healthy’, ‘sugar-free’ or ‘organic’.

And secondly, try these tips:

*Include more raw vegetables and fresh fruits in your diet.
*Avoid foods that contain starch.
*Drink lots of water, at least eight glasses a day.

These tips will not only help you lose weight, but you will also feel lighter, happier and more energetic! Try it and I guarantee that there will be a jump in your step.
